TIME TRAX serie 1993 temp 1

En el siglo XXII un científico llamado Mordecai Sahmbi usa una máquina del tiempo llamada Trax (Trans-time Research And eXperimentation) con fines ilegales: ayudar a evadirse de la justicia a criminales enviándolos 200 años hacia el pasado. Las actividades delictivas de Mordecai son descubiertas y se ve obligado a usar su propia máquina para huir de la policía. El Capitán Darien Lambert es enviado a través del tiempo para buscar a los fugitivos. Cuenta con la ayuda de Selma, un ordenador con el tamaño y aspecto de una tarjeta de crédito que puede proyectar una imagen holográfica femenina. También dispone de un arma (con el aspecto de una alarma de coche) que es capaz de paralizar a los fugados. Selma (iniciales de Specified Encapsulated Limitless Memory Archive) se encarga de recopilar todo tipo de información anómala al tiempo en que se han desplazado, lo analiza e informa a Darien Lambert de sus conclusiones para que éste investigue si se está o no utilizando tecnología futura, que es el modo que tienen de encontrar a los fugitivos.
