SINOPSIS (1964-1970) de 165 episodios. La NBC llevó a la pequeña pantalla las aventuras de Daniel Boone (Fess Parker), el célebre explorador estadounidense. Boone tuvo que afrontar grandes dificultades en su papel de mediador entre colonos e indios, en su lucha contra tramperos sin escrúpulos, ladrones de pieles y todo tipo de personajes poco recomendables. Boone vivía con su mujer Rebecca (Patricia Blair) y sus dos hijos, Jemina (Veronica Carthwight) e Israel (Darby Hinton), en el recién colonizado estado de Kentucky. Su compañero de aventuras era el indio "Mingo"(Ed Arnes).
