Kimble bajo el nombre de Chris Benson, a regañadientes se involucra con Stella Savano, la hermana de George Savano, un mafioso que dirige la empresa de camiones donde trabaja Kimble. Stella es una mujer con problemas emocionales con una peligrosa atracción hacia Johnny, el hijo adoptado de ocho años de edad, de Jesse Stransel, su compañero de trabajo. Kimble se entera de que Stella es en realidad la madre de Johnny. Pero Stella se vuelve tan delirante que ella piensa que Kimble es el padre de Johnny.

George se enfrenta a un enojado Kimble, y le dice a su secretaria que en una hora, debe llamar a la policía e informarles de que Chris Benson ha robado algunas radios, y se cree que esta solicitado en otra parte por la policía. Kimble quiere huir, pero Stella complica las cosas.
